The project encourages scholarly exchange on all matters related to explanatory annotation. To that end, we are hosting and participating in workshops and conferences, and publish the results of our research and discussions.
On Annotation

Explanatory Annotation helps open up a text to the reader and, concurrently, leaves open the choice as to the kind of information s/he wishes to access. It is both a teaching and learning tool: annotating texts together in class or a peer-project as a collaborative activity, and working with annotations to learn more about a text.
